My vacation

• I got to see Ethan a lot. How wonderful to have my boys in the same place and time together. I got lots of pictures.
• We went to Batman Begins twice. I loved it.
• I got to see my family and Kresha's family a lot. Excellent.
• Great BBQ's.
• Got to spend a whole day with Nurse Jen. I heart her.
• Got to sit in Jen and Tom's hot tub.
• Munchkin with family and Ethan. Fun stuff, but too long... and again I failed to win.
• Lots of Xbox with Ethan (who got an Xbox for his birthday).
• Got to take care of Tristan for about a week and give Kresha some time off, she got to be a bum for a few days.
• I told my family that if they turn down the temperature, turn up the humidity, turn down the altitude, turn down the sun a bit, and bus out most of the intollerant religious fundamentalists it would be a great place to live.
• I told my parents that I don't drink that much. Apparently my sister or brother showed them the video of me drunk at a new years party some years ago... they were not amused.
• I mowed a lawn for the first time in 17 years.
• I went hiking (real hiking) for the first time in at least 4 years. Mental note: don't wear shorts next time. Stinging nettle and mosquitoes are not your friends.
• I got to drive in crappy Utah traffic with crappy Utah drivers. I would love to shoot some of those people.
• My brother in law made an effort to be social.
• We played a bunch of video games.
• Freeze tag outside with all the youngsters.
• Rode in a old west stage coach.
  

It is good to be home. Back in my "routine". Good to be back at work. Good to sleep in my own bed. Good to see my puppies again. Today things finally seem back to normal.
